Strength indiciates a characters physical strength. For each point of strength a character can bench press 30 pounds. for each point of strength DAM increases divided by 3 rounded down. STR/3 = DAM bonus.
Speed 1 - 10
Speed indicates a characters physical speed. The amount of AP a character has is determined by his speed. A character's base AP is 6 increasing by 2 per point of speed.

Stamina indicates a characters VO2 max and cardio aswell as their will to keep on fighting. For every three rounds of fighting, 1 stamina point is deducted from a character's stamina pool, unless the character uses half of thier AP rounded down for each three rounds. This indicates the drain fighting has on the character's body. When a character is at zero stamina they can only use half of their maxium AP rounded down. Characters also suffer a -2 DAM and -2 EVA penalty for all strikes and guards and lose 1 HP each round. For each point of Stamina a character gains 2 HP.

(In rare cases a one or more of a character's main stats may increase to more than the maximum of 10 points, such a character would have to have undergone extreme training pushing past the limits of the physical condition)
*Training*
All Training will be RPed. You can train for styles, moves, masteries, vital/main statistics (Str,Spd,Stm,End,Enr) or Forbidden styles/skils. All RP posts will be graded by a moderator or impartial player on a scale of [1 - 10], the points of the grade depends on what amount of SP or skill points will be awarded for the RP.
This system is designed so that players get the experience of their character growing stronger over time, but it is fair and balanced so that no character grows too strong and everyone gets to have fun.
[10] skill points are needed for entering a basic style and for learning basic styles moves.
[30] skill points are needed for mastering a basic style and special skills.
Forrbidden styles vary from skill to skill but are usually high.
Training for [50] SP adds one year to your character's age. At age 60 characters receive -3 penalty on their vital statistics. Mortality catches up with all characters at age 85 at which point they die. The player may then RP in the afterlife or start a new character.
Training Vital/Main Stats
Main stats are your character's base stats. They represent a character's physical condition and years of hard training. Vital stats ranging from 1-3 is considered low-level. Low level is about average for regular people. Any time you RP training a vital statistic 3 or under it costs [10] SP. As a martial artist progresses he will need to find new ways to raise his stats, this can mean long intense training or special equipment. Training vitals from 3-6 is considered mid range and requires [30] SP. To raise a vital 6 or above requires a special commitment and advanced equipment. Stats 6 and above are considered high-level and requires [50] SP per point. The time spent toward training these high-level stats can be reduced by using advanced equipment or special IC teachers. Raising a stat past 10 is considered super-human and is incredibly difficult to achieve. With a high motivation one may attempt to try this.

*Events or Story Interaction*
When a player RPs with other players exceptionally well or RPs with great detail and creativity they may be awarded extra Skill Points to spend toward training.
Also when characters RPs are connected with the main storyline or central events of the story they will also receive bonus SP. This is to encourage story development through RP and to keep character's from training in solitude.
These SP are considered extra and do not count against the character's age.
